Wow, what a day

by Brett

It is 10 minutes after 4:00 and the 1st (hopefully annual) Meet Me in St. Louis is now officially over.  We ran a little bit long on trampoline, but on the bright side we really got to highlight the high level (9, 10, and Jr Elite) trampolinists.  (I’m a glass half-full guy, what can I say.)  What we learned for next year is that we need two trampolines.

Before I sign off so we can start packing up I just want to say, on behalf of St. Louis Elite Tramp and Tumble and Kids World Gymnastics, thank you to everyone who came and participated in the meet.  I know I had a great time, I hope that you all did to.  If there is anything you really liked (or disliked) about the meet, please leave us a comment here and let us know so we can keep doing it (or not, as the case may be).

I’d also like to extend a personal thanks to all the volunteers who helped plan, coordinate, and execute the meet.  Without them, it would not have been the great succes that it was.

Don’t forget to keep an eye out for the results and award photos.  We will be posting them throughout the weekend, so check back often - or subscribe so you get automatic updates.

See you next year!!!!

  1. Congrats on your first meet!! I wanted to let you know that your meet was, hands down, the most organized and best planned meet we’ve ever been to.
We really appreciated the Fri. night training, the fantastic concessions (with reasonable prices), and the website (maps, area attractions, spectator info, etc.) We actually ended up spending a second night to take in some of what St. Louis has to offer!!
At the meet, everyone was very helpful and friendly!! Thanks for a great time. I plan on telling our coach to put this meet on our calendar next year!!

    Sincerely,

    Laura Binger

    P.S. The medals are AWESOME.

  2. Laura,

Thanks for the comments, we are glad that you enjoyed the meet and had a chance to enjoy some of what St. Louis has to offer. We haven’t set a date for next year yet, but keep an eye out here on the web site and we’ll get it posted as soon as we have it.

    See you next year.

    Brett
