St. Louis Elite All-Star Cheerleading: Open House and Tryouts
Beginning this spring there is a new addition to the St. Louis Elite family: St. Louis Elite Cheerleading. We have a great program lined up, with an equally great coaching staff led by head coach Kendra Huddleston.
In addition to the cheer experience and expertise that Kendra and her staff bring, the cheerleading team will get to take advantage of the tumbling experience and expertise of the tumbling coaches of St. Louis Elite Tramp and Tumble.
If you would like to learn more about this exciting new program, come by Gateway Kids World at 2:00 pm on Saturday April 21st for an Open House to meet Kendra and Gene and hear about what they have in store. And then come back on Sunday April 29th (1:00 pm) for try outs.

Getting ready for the Missouri State Championships
With just two week to go until the Missouri State Championships in Joplin on April 21st, the team is training hard.
Since most people not involved with Tramp and Tumble aren’t really sure what it is our athletes do, we thought we’d like to share some highlights from the 2006 Missouri State Championships (video on YouTube) to help you understand a bit better.
JumpFest at Gateway Kids World
Nearly 90 athletes from 10 gyms across Missouri and Illinois, ranging in age from 5 to 19, gathered on March 31st at Gateway Kids World in Hazelwood to compete in trampoline, double-mini trampoline, and tumbling. Each event had an elite athlete competing, and there were also quite a few level 10 athletes in addition to the lower levels.
St. Louis Elite took the Best Overall Team trophy and the Best Tumbling, with Xtreme, from Lee’s Summit, MO winning Best Trampoline and The Flip Shop, from Joplin, MO winning Best Double Mini, at the USA Gymnastics sanctioned event hosted by St. Louis Elite Tramp and Tumble.
This was our first opportunity to host a meet. We are planning for bigger and better next year, so stay tuned for more details. This was also the last “regular-season” meet of the year, we now turn our eyes on the Missouri State Championship on April 21st.Photos from JumpFest 07:
